Company Information
Shick Security Services is a home and business security company that was started by Matthew A. Shick in 2015 in Edinburg, Pennsylvania.
Matthew began working at his family’s construction and trucking business, CD Ambrosia, in 2007 where he learned how to run and operate a company. CD Ambrosia was founded in the 1930s by Shick’s great-grandfather, Carmen D. Ambrosia.
CD Ambrosia started off as a truck hauling business that later adopted coal mining, road construction, and then residential and
commercial construction.
Shick’s father, Carmen W. Shick, took over operations in 1992 and is still its current president. Carmen opened several new businesses as well as started the construction of a housing development in Poland, Ohio called, “Park Place in the Woods”, which began in the late 90s.
Presently, new homes are continuing to be built. Shick Security Services caters to home security in Park Place as well as several other businesses.
Seeking a much warmer climate, Shick Security Services relocated to Sunny South Florida in 2019 seeking a better opportunity to expand its business. Shick Security Services still operates in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio and will continue to operate in that area, but now has a new place to call home and will do business in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade County. Our Florida office is located in Fort Lauderdale.
